Bond is Back. Daniel Craig is to star in the new james bond movie Sky Fall. This will be the 23th bond movie, and the third movie in which Daniel Craig stars as James Bond. The main plot to SkyFall is that MI-6 is being infultrated, and Bond must save M, while his trust is put on the line between the two. I am a huge fan of the Bond movies. There are many action movies, but none of them compoare James Bond, Bond is every mans, man. Bond is what everyman wishes they could be like. He always gets the girl, saves the day, and retires to a beautiful island beach, doesnt get any better than that.

michael madsen
Madsen who has starred in many films as the somewhat bad guy, in Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Brasco, Wyatt Earp, Kill Bill vol 1& 2 and Sin City. Madsen is most notable for his roles as a tough, cool, and smooth talking serious man. For those of you who don;t know who Madsen is, look him up. He isn't an oscar winner, but he is an international film festival winner, and successful poet who has written many books. I like Madsen because he plays a certain type of character into all of his roles. When he played the sadistic killer in Reservoir Dogs, he had just become a father. He didn't want to play the role, but he did. Madsen appears in many indepent films, that get viewed at film festivals, and small bit roles where he may make some cameos, and play a supporting role. All in all, Madsen is a favorute actor of mine because of his entusiasm he has in his roles, and how he presents himself.

Bruce Willis
Every time you hear Bruce Willis, you think of Die Hard, One of his most successful roles as the crazy, guns blazing NYPD cop, John McClain. Die Hard is an amzing action packed, semi comedy film that everyone should love, and who wouldnt. One man against twelve terrorists + action packed movie+ Bruce Willis = AWESOME. Willis has played in other movies where he plays the quiet hero. Hostage, (2005) ,Tears Of the Sun, and 16 Blocks as well as other films such as Six Ueet Under, and Red. Willis is an amazing actor in my opinion because of how he plays out all of his characters in films. He literally seems to be the character in the film, and makes it look like he isnt acting at all.

Fight Club
Ive recently finished the novel Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, and i loved it. it is one of my favorite novels i have read. I have seen the movie before the book, which kind of ruined the book for me, however, the book is better than the movie. the writing style of the book is better because you can take what is given in the book and imagine any types of people you want to play the roles of the characters, the movie limits your mind to wander. The movie though is also very good because it stays true to the novel, minus some taking out of events in the novel. The whole backing to Fight Club is that people work at jobs that they hate so that they can buy stuff they don't really need. The whole idea is people become engulfed in having to be materialistic and that they forget how to live the life they want, other than buying things. The main character, whose name is unknown because of all the false names he gives while attending cancer treatment groups to help him fight his insomnia. The "Narrator"s friend and voice of reasoning, Tyler Durden, helps the narrator, more commonly called by readers "Joe", probably because he refers to himself and everyone else an average Joe, start Fight Club. Fight club is an underground controlled fight group in which people fight one another there are 8 rules to fight club that include, never talking about fight club, NEVER TALKING ABOUT FIGHT CLUB, only two people to a fight, no shirt no shoes, if someone goes out cold, or taps, fight is over, and you must fight if its your first night at the club. The fighting makes people know that they are alive. We revert to our animal instincts by needing only the bare necessities, such as a couple of pairs of clothes, food and shelter.
I highly recommend Reading the novel first, but also watching the movie.

The Big Lebowski
The Movie The Big Lebowski, that starred Jeff bridges, John Goodman, and Steve Buschemi, depict the journey of a unemployed slacker, who is used as a courier to deliver ransom money to kidnappers hired by a wealthy man in the town of LA. The plot starts with a mistaken identity when two men break into The Dudes house( Jeffrey Lebowski) who mistake him for the rich Jeffrey Lebowski. The Big Lewbowski is a crippled old man who is rich and lives in a mansion and is everything the dude isn't, such as respected by the community, and married to a trophy wife. The whole plot unravels throughout the film, and takes many sudden dips and turns. All in all this is one of my favorite films, watch it and you'll understand why it is still renowned and admired

"Based On"
Any source of story can be turned into a movie. There are so many books that have been written that have later been turned into movies. As we've seen with the video game "Hitman", this was plainly a video game, which has been turned into a movie. Many short story's have potential to become a movie. Anyone can take a script, and adapt it to become moving picture. But can this be the opposite, can someone take a movie and turn it into a book? I don't think its possible at all. people will have already seen the movie, and will not bother with the book. I know what you re thinking though, why do people who have read the book first still want to see the movie based on the book. The answer is because they want to see how the movie plays out, based on the books story. Personally i think the book is always better than the movie because they leave out so much from the book for the sake of time, and especially money. I do enjoy viewing the movie based on the book though.
what makes a movie
There are so many new movies being produced, scripts being written, and actors being casted for different roles. These new movies plot lines are so basic, and kiddish that there isn't any any real genre to describe the movie. Producers try and cast actors from certain movies that carry a big following, like the movie with the actor from Twilight. He plays an agent trying to get a kid back, he isn't a real actor, he was in a girls romantic movie because he apparently everything girls want in a guy. Blah, Movies need action packed, thriller, violence and good leading actors. Movies are meant to leave the audience either speechless, or in such an awe from the plot that they fell in love with the movie. A movie among the lines of James Bond, for example encompasses every aspect of a great movie. The action, mild comedy, romance, and of coarse good ol violence are the main elements of the movie. But besides all of theese things, Albert Broccoli really did a great job of creating Mr. Bond, Bond is one of the most iconic series of movies to walk the face of the movie industry.
Comming Soon
The best time of the year is the summer. Not only is there no school, beach season, and bright beautiful days, there are the blockbuster movies of the summer. Summer movies are a great thing because it allows people to be able to break away from the pool, and beach eveyday and go watch some movies. Movie theaters are alays cold, and you get to view some of the best movies out there during the summer. I like summer movies, but so many times i don't get to see them because things are very hectic in the summer. People shouldn't go waste a beautiful day at the movies, but for those days that are slow, and boring and nothing to do, take up the movie theater.

Comedy vs. Reality
There are many films that have been produced that either make fun of a subject, or add humor to the subject, and those that are documentaries, or those that are for the sole purpose to inform you. Many war films have been made into either comedies, or actioney, drama movies. Example Kelly's heroes depict WWII soldiers stealing gold from a bank on enemy lines, this is a comedy war film, such as MASH is a comedy war film depicting three army doctors, and what they do in a MASH unit, besides saving soldiers lives. Some serious war movies include Saving Private Ryan, which is an epic war film. Althogh the movie is fiction based, the setting and scenary is based on solidiers during WWII. i dont believe there is any harm done in making comedies about subjects such as theese.
Quentin Tarantino
One of my favorite directors in the film industry besides Martin Scorsese, is Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino breaks film boundaries by incorporating his own sense of directing into the mix of many films. Tarantino develops his plot through chapter styling, this has been done in Pulp Fiction, and Kill Bill Vol. 1&2. The coined trunk shot, in which the camera is shooting upward toward the actors in the tunk of the car, Tarantino did this in Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk to Dawn( co produced). Tarantino never finished highschool, and yet he is a noted director in the industry. One man that shows a passion, and love for movies can truly become highlighted, and intimidated by other directors.

The classic Actors
There are so many new up and comming actors in this day and age. Its as if now everybody can act in a movie now. there are only a small handful of "classic actors", actors that have leftthere mark on a generation, and set the presedent, for all future actors. I am talking about actors such as Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, Marlon Brando, Clark Gable, Paul Newman, Tyrone Power, Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, James Earl Jones. Now you proably wont know of all theese brilliant, and talented actors, maybe only a few, but theese are the types of actors that are the noble ones. There works in films have sparked generations, and have inspired the next up and comming actors. There are Far too many names to list on this post, but with out theese actors, there wouldnt be any true sense of the term acting.

Movies
Movies, we all love them, but what is it about them that we find so captivating? i like to think that it is the morals, and the messages that we learn from movies that help us to become better people in our lives. Personally i feel different after watching a movie that really has a meaningful message, i walk away from the film now knowing that ive been affected by this film. when watching movies, i start to pickup connections that i may have with the characters in the film. I think people can learn a great deal from movies, and that they are the backbone of our culture, espeacially because they incorporate, music, writing, and acting.

The Avengers blog
Hello and welcome to my blog spot.
im going to talk about my thoughts aswell as actual movie reviews, and discussions from well known people and sources. first to start off lets discuss about the movie "The Avengers". The Avengers, starring Robert Downey jr, as Tony stark, aka iron man, Mark Rufalo as Bruce Banner, The hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, as Captain America, and to throw him in, Jeremy Renner as Cliff Barton, as Hawk Eye. I didnt see the movie, but my opinion is that it depicts the basic goal that all superhero movies have, people with different ideas comming together, and defeating a common enemy. I believe that everyone regardless of caring about comicbook heroes or not can agree that in the worst of times, when people team up and help to defeat a common enemy, everyone wins. We can learn from theese meanigful messages in movies, Unite as one, and nothing is impossible. Based on the Boxoffice, The Avengers pulled in a whopping $207,438,708 in its first viewings. check out the box office,
